We have been learning and watching all about the Life Cycle of a butterfly. We remember when our caterpillars arrived. We watched them wriggle,eat,sleep and grow bigger every day. our caterpillars have been so hungry!😁 How incredible ,our caterpillars changed into cocoons. They stayed like that for nearly 2 weeks and then we got to see them slowly emerge from their pupa’s. We put some butterfly food,leaves and fruit into the net,while we waited for all 5 butterflies to hatch. We then released all our butterflies into our garden. They were a little scared and didn’t go very far for a while.
